Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and those who rated Dr. Teng a 1-star must really be unhappy in their own life as making a negative review must make your day! The only surgery I had in my life was having my wisdom teeth removed until last year I had an umbilical hernia repaired. YES it was painful during the recovery process; being cut through several layers through the abdomen is not a walk in the park; oh and the scaring was minimal Dr Teng even called me post-op to see how I was doing; my one-week follow up was still painful but as long as you FOLLOW the doctor;s orders you will get through it. Everyone has a different pain level and healing time varies. I would go through the procedure again I would do it again with Dr. Teng; his bed-side manners are the best out there; he's an amazing physician no matter if you're the "money making bariatric" patient to a "routine" procedure know you will be well taken care of! SIDE NOTE- SOAPBOX I don't know if teaching "if you don't have anything nice to say then DON'T say anything at all" is too late for some?!?! Opinions do matter...nice or not just think and re-read before submitting.... THANKS for your time in reading my review
