My experience was a few years back. The reason I'm writing this review now is that everytime I look at my ring I get upset. I went in for my once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to upgrade my wedding band/engagement ring set. The sales woman was totally disinterested in helping me. I only took twenty minutes of her time and spent 10,000 that day. She semed bored and like she wanted a nap. Purchasing these items most women are excited to be looking or buying so that was a big drag. Next, since I was using my original main diamond, she told me I needed a custom band/mounting. This was a very thin band with 8 very small 1 point diamonds on each side of the stone (that I was provding). This band cost around $4,800. Yes, too much. When I picked it up a few weeks later I didn't inspect it close enough. After i got home I noticed a "dead spot" meaning in the row of eight little sparkly diamonds one was so dead and dull I actually thought it had fallen out! I should have turned around and taken it back. I wasn't good at speaking up for myself at that time. But either they didn't inspect this ring and the crappy workmanship when it came back from the person that makes these for them or they did and decided to give it to me anyway. Either way NOT ACCEPTABLE! The store is beautiful and I love the diamond eternity band I bought out of the case, even though the saleslady did not deserve commission for anything I bought. My advice is if you go in and the salesperson treats you like this, go somewhere else! There are plenty of people who want to sell you jewelry. Also, especially with custom work, inspect it VERY carefully before you accept it.
