When my family, which includes a young child decided to move here, we thought Metro on Main was a nice community. The prices were reasonable, grounds were clean, the apartment model we saw was lovely, and we were very happy. Unfortunately, the apartment we received was not as nice as the one we saw. We could deal with that. Our fault for not seeing our place up front. We signed a 42 page lease touting the community's "crime free" policies. I felt safe with that, but, it wasn't long before I met my upstairs neighbors- who were drug addicts and their friends, and dealt with noise all hours of the night. My other upstairs neighbors were also having a lot of physical fights. We spoke to the office at least 5 times. The police have been here multiple times. Three months later, nothing was done, although we were told that both upstairs neighbors were being evicted. One apartment was cleared, but, the other was not, which led to a stabbing in the apartment above us, and a gang of Mesa PD with assault rifles right outside of my house. I have a toddler here and this is the scariest and worst thing I have ever had happen in an apartment complex in my life. I work mornings and am so tired because I have had broken sleep for the last several months. It is affecting my job and I feel anxious and always on high alert around here. The neighbors haven't been the only problems either. The police have been here other times for wandering junkies in our park and pool area. This is not a safe place for anyone, let alone the large numbers of children that live here. I probably wouldn't have written this review had my concerns been taken seriously by the management and the violence had been prevented, but, because of inaction, this escalated from noise complaints to a STABBING. Careful if you decide to move here. I would not recommend it.
