We went to Postino's last night and had an excellent dinner.
The cedar plank bruschetta is a wonderful accompaniment with their wine selections and can be customized to taste. With at least 8 selections to choose from both my husband and I found bruschetta that we enjoyed.
For dinner I had the mixed green salad and he chose the tuna panini. My salad was much better than it's very ordinary title. With grapes, Gorgonzola, tiny fried onion strings and a wonderful vinaigrette I left feeling satisfied but not overfilled. My husband's tuna panini was also excellent with a perfect amount of flavor.
The best part about the restaurant for me, was the ambiance. We went late in the evening. The soft flickering candle light and open dining room created an atmosphere that would be wonderful to dine with either friends, or a date. It would be a perfect place to spend a few leisurely hours sipping wine and talking.
We are excited to go Sunday from 12-3 for $5 Sangria and live reggae!
