We love our new home in CenPho we bought it last August but we quickly discovered bugs loved it too because we've seen a lot of them inside the house. We had a little reprieve during the colder months.... but now that it's warming up. They're BACK.
We only moved two blocks away from our old house and never had a bug problem there so we are exterminating NOOBS. We've not seen any scorpions here so that's not an issue but we've listened to (all night, for many many many nights) some very happy crickets in our bedroom and bathrooms last summer/fall and we've found them in the house as well and a bunch of other creepy crawlies that needed to be evicted ASAP.
There are MANY highly rated pest control companies on Yelp, BUT I hired Urban Desert because theirs reviews seemed real and the competitors felt manufactured and robotic. I have to pat myself on the back because I made the right choice.
Jeremy arrived within the specified window and gave me a heads up phone call about 30 minutes ahead of time. When he got here he got right to work spraying, dusting the outside eaves of the house for spiders and webs and even removed a couple wasp's nests and a birds nest! He did notice the excess of crickets and put some additional bug killer that was not spray down, over and above what I expected. He also put some traps in our garage, and sprayed there as well again over and above.
Based on reviews I read on other companies I thought I would have to ask/beg them to spray in the house....NOPE part of the service. Jeremy was informative and helped this bug exterminating noob understand what he had done and what to expect. He explained they guarantee the service for 60 days and don't make you sign a contract and they will simply call to schedule the next visit when it's time. Awesome.
I felt comfortable with him in my home and while the results are yet to be seen I know quality work and attention to detail and this was definitely it. Hopefully in two-three days we won't be sleeping with chirping crickets in our house and with their help will keep the little pests out!
OH and the the service was completely affordable!!! Bonus, bonus, bonus.
