I came here in search of a new vet to call my dog's PCP. I was skeptical of going to a veterinary chain housed in a commercial Pet Store, but my first experience with Banfield was good. They tend to try to oversell you on some immunizations and general wellness tests, as do most vets these days, but I was prepared for that and had a good idea of what my dog did and didn't need along those lines.
Dr. Padgelek proved to be a fantastic vet and is very caring and compassionate, even with my extremely large and sometimes difficult beast. When an emergency arose, she was quick to provide us with our options as well as the pros/cons of each, and did a wonderful job on some emergency surgery that ended up saving my dog's life. The staff there is also very friendly and attentive, and always provide a courtesy appointment reminder phone call the day before and follow-up phone calls in the days following any procedure.
