This was actually a good gym and had (what I thought was) a great monthly membership deal... until I found out first hand the fraudulent scheme they pull off on good loyal customers! I was leaving town and had to cancel my membership (as allowed by contract) and they make it almost impossible to do so! after 3 visits to talk to the manager who was conveniently "out to lunch" every time I went in, and email, phone calls, and a mailed cancellation form, they still cheated me out of multiple monthly payment even after I had requested the cancellation and left town - read online you will see there are similar experienced posted all over. LA fitness' business strategy is pathetic and unethical - they treat their loyal customers like crap and are out to screw you. I will never sign up with this evil company ever again!
