20 yrs. ago, Wexman's installed our carpet in our new house. It was great and it's still there. We wanted to replace carpet in our addition (didn't last as long). Went to big box houses...got confused. Went back to Wexman's because of how they treated us 20 yrs ago. Not the same. Prices considerably more (wanted to patronize the little guy). We were originally told they would move furniture for free...then we paid $75 (I guess I was tired of negociating). They sent an old guy and a young guy...Young guy did all the work. Gave us crap for making it difficult to move carpet in (just had big furniture moved in...I was impressed). I helped with the rug and moved the furniture. They never helped put it back. And my wife gave them a tip (I wasn't around...I was kind of ticked. No one really called back to follow up (left a message thanking them for our business). The rug...expensive and wasn't as good as what we had. They left in record time (before I returned...duh...we did all the work (and paid for moving furniture that they didn't do). I couldn't even complain. Sigh
