Have you ever wondered why do Japanese tourist flock to ramen houses in Waikiki? well, it's because they can't stay a way from their favorite foods for too long, and this is the same case for Hawaiians, and Hawaiians at heart. I always had a very good dining experience with their Bentos, plate lunches and Madasada. if you don't know what a Madasada is, just go buy a few, because you can't just eat one. I can't tell you too much about their sushi, because I'm only Hawaiian born person who's allergic to seafood. Their big island Oyster Chicken is awesome, when they have it! The seating area is easily doubles the capacity of their Eastern Avenue location. Also, it looks like it could turn into a nice intimate musical venue for Hawaiian musical groups. Okay Hawaiians, and everyone who loves Hawaiian style plate lunches and sushi. You have a new option in downtown Las Vegas, and you can even get a bento from them before taking off on the late flight back on Omni or Hawaiian airlines, because they stay open late. You no more excuse to not check it out.
