Rip off.
I contacted several companies for moving estimates before deciding to just hire U-Haul and do it myself. At one point I almost picked Executive, and even discussed potential moving dates. "We need your credit card number to put you on the calendar. Don't worry, your card will not be charged. All we ask is that you notify us 24 hours before the scheduled move if you wish to cancel."
This is what I was told. When I called the next day to cancel (four days before my scheduled move), I was told there would be a $175 cancellation fee. I protested, and after much time wasted on the phone going up the chain of command, I was finally told the charges would be credited in full.
I received my credit card statement. Not only where the charges not credited, the fee was increased to $237.
This company gets bad reviews for a reason. They are a rip off, a sham company.
Do yourself a favor and AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
