The Casino is nice, the food in a couple of the restaurants is good, but I'm never stepping back into that place after what just happened to me at the Poker Room. I don't want to say that it's a meeting room for neo-Nazis or Islamophobes or just ignorant rednecks, but it's not far off. Some man who could have been Mexican, Italian, Arab, or Spanish, got up from the table after he busted out--he didn't say anything, he just moved to another table. Another man at my table keep saying how little class the guy had, how he was a bad loser and an even worse winner, and he repeated it at least three times so that everyone at the table heard and understood. The DEALER said (white fat guy, tall, short hair--he should be at least reprimanded), "So, you want to send him back?" I was shocked by that comment. Then another one of these Racist regulars said, "He's from Armenian--he should go back." No one laughed. It was not a joke. I looked at the dealer in the eyes, appalled. He just looked back and dealt. The man who had started the whole thing said something else nasty about the poor man who had simply left the table and I got up and left myself, found my husband, and insisted we leave, even though we were going to eat at the Italian place. In retrospect, I should have gone to the floor manager, but I'm a pretty woman, blond and blue, and I probably wouldn't be taken seriously. What a nasty, nasty bunch.
