I am so pissed at the cab situation in this town. It's not only Yellow Checker, so I don't want to put all the blame on them, and...truth be told, 9 times out of 10 the drivers in C-U are super friendly and know where they are going. So what's my beef? I find it ridiculous how difficult it is to get a cab after 11 pm in this town. WTF? This past weekend I called one company, no answer at all. Another, busy signal. Still another and was told a 20 minute wait--2 hours (!!) later, still no freaking cab. Is it so much to ask that I can get a ride home after a night of drinking? Whatever happened to encouraging responsible drinking? It is so frustrating!
