The best thing about this hotel? The fact that they had a room for us to stay in since Embassy Suites turned us away. I take that back. I would have rather just slept in the airport than at this motel. We missed our connecting flight and were stuck in Charlotte for the night. Embassy Suites told us their airline rooms were full and we ended up in Ramada. It's right next to a gentleman's club and whatever restaurant used to be attached was boarded up. Our room had hair on the bathroom floor, something hard and white that resembled a tooth on the floor by the TV, and dust everywhere. The room smelled like dog food and we slept in our clothes because we felt so gross. I kept feeling itchy and I still don't know if it was bugs or just my imagination. All night we kept hearing a tapping noise, and finally figured out that it was water dripping in the pipes in the ceiling. We figured this out because when we checked out in the lobby the next morning, there was water steadily dripping on the floor behind the front desk. The hotel shuttle that was supposed to pick us up at 5:30 was pulling away at 5:27 and we had to wait until 6 to get the next one. The entire stay was a disaster, and my best advice is to find somewhere else.
