The absolute worst nail salon I have ever had the unfortunate luck of experiencing. I thought I would give this place a try because it is close-by. I went it, showed them my nails, told them what I wanted and asked for the price up-front. Ok, we are good to go.....
Well, as I walk through the various stations on my way back to where my technician sits, I notice abandoned food bowls with noodles in them, chopsticks still stuck in the food, and flies buzzing around the rims. This was beyond disgusting, and I knew I had made a mistake. The place was also "abuzz" with the staff chomping and popping their gum, and singing and yowling their conversations across the salon.
The manicure was not the best and not the worst I've ever had. The tech asked me a lot of nosy questions, like if I have a boyfriend. When I got up to the front desk to pay, I was given a higher price than I was quoted when I came in the door. She said, "Because you have long nail." I paid the price, but left no tip and told her why. She didn't seem to care, and I will never be back.
