So my friends and I arrived 7 minutes before opening, we opened the door and a lady promptly pushed us out. No big deal, but another party came and the same thing happened. So, it's now 2 minutes to opening and we hear a distinct click of a lock - no one else had tried to breach the entry.
So now it's 3 minutes after opening and they still haven't unlocked the door. I should have suggested that we leave and go somewhere else, but I was hungry. She finally opens the door, we're seated and given tap water - gross.
The food was okay, small portions don't really do it for me. I did enjoy the agedashi tofu, but everything was basic, nothing special.
I won't find myself returning. I can understand not wanting us in before opening, but to lock the door 2 minutes prior to opening and then opening late when you have at least 12 people waiting outside, is not good customer service.
