You can definitely tell that this place is new, and they have not yet figured everything out. The service was friendly but SLOW. Ordered a chicken caesar salad w/o croutons and a side of fries. I'm allergic to wheat, so it was annoying when my salad came out tossed with croutons, and my fries were tossed into the basket with my husband's cheesesteak (he didn't order fries, and I couldn't eat them because of the cross contamination with the bread). This happens from time to time, and I have just learned to expect that my meal is likely to come out wrong the first time. They of course were apologetic about my salad, and immediately took it back to the kitchen. It took a LONG time for my replacement. I mean really, it's a salad, and it was not busy - how long does it take to make a salad? Eventually it did come, but it was very disappointing. Needed about twice as much dressing as it had pre-tossed on it, and the chicken was in 3 big pieces on the top. Had to cut it up to mix in with salad (with my butter knife), and the plate wasn't big enough so I kept losing lettuce off the side of the plate. Tried to catch the waitress 3 times to get some extra dressing, and was not able to. She only had 3 tables. Wrote this entire review while waiting for the check. Our "quick dinner" took over an hour.
The redeeming factors that give them two stars instead of one:
1) the cheesesteak was pretty good. He said he has had better, but it was tasty.
2) They did have a lot of variations and options on the menu, which was interesting in a Philly cheesesteak place.
3) though inept, the waitresses were friendly.
Overall, I would not return here.
