We were looking for a place for lunch after golf. We just happened to come across Chavelos and what a find it was! The service was excellent, I think the young man's name was Lou but not positive. He made some great recommendations and everyone was happy with their selection. I had the chicken fajitas and was skeptical as I rarely find fajitas I like but decided to give them a shot. Wow!!! Excellent!! This is real down home Mexican food like what I grew up on. And talk about home cooking, they serve you a small bowl of Fideo soup with your meal. It's a simple pasta and tomato broth soup and it was just like mom made when I was a kid. We were told they had only been open for 6 weeks but they seemed to have everything dialed in. I hope local people support this place. I will be back next time I'm in town.
