I have avoided this place since it opened, because I was worried that it was too much of a scene. I really just want to eat good food, and I don't care about who else is eating around me. Anyway, I was wrong to avoid True Food. I went for the first time last night, and it was terrific. The food was great--not too fussy or freaky, but just yummy. We had a mushroom pizza and soup. We sat on the patio, which was very nice at this time of year. But best of all was the service. I don't usually gush over waiters, but ths group was terrific--attentive, kind, helpful, but not in-your-face. Just great. If you like green tea, the iced green tea here is a winner.
