I have been to this office twice for semi-annual cleanings, and was impressed with the cleanliness of the office, and the dental hygiene staff. If it were only for regular cleanings, I would give the office four stars. However, the dentist is known to recommend work that is unnecessary and costly.
When I was presented with "urgent" dental work that totaled more than $3,000, I visited another dental office that has been voted to "Top Docs" by the Phoenix Magazine and was informed that no dental work was necessary, or even recommended. A few months later, my husband was also informed by Laveen Modern Dentistry that he needed work totaling $2,700. After getting a second opinion through a Phoenix Top Doc, he too learned that his teeth are in great condition, with no recommended work. A friend had a similar experience.
Save your money, save your teeth, and go elsewhere for your dental needs.
