Love the Rush. Coffee here is very good and waaay better than Starbucks. It's cheaper, too. Never bitter. The tea is good, too. They charge the same for a large as a medium cup since it's just water with the same amount of loose leaf tea (wrapped in filter bag and suspended from the lid.) And this place always has raw sugar on the bar.
Patio is full at night with lively people and usually has a group of Europeans sitting, smoking, and playing cards. It's fun! Chairs are not comfy outdoors but inside, they're fine.
One caveat...order a flippin' drink when you come, otherwise, stay home! Don't come here to sit or you will be asked to order or leave. I have nursed one drink for five hours there and nobody seems to care (of course I am pretty cute so that helps.) If you are female and easy on the eyes, prepare for some good-natured flirting from the baristas. It's all in good fun and great for the self-esteem.
