I have eaten here twice. I enjoy this quaint pub. A side bonus is that they serve RC Cola here, which I happen to enjoy. The first time I ate here I got the small cod with the extra 2 deep fried shrimp. The second time I was there with my cousin and we split the calamari. I got the Cornish Pasty and she got the Bangers and mash. Out of everything, the bangers and mash is my absolute favorite. Mashed potatoes with gravy, 2 sausages and peas. The Cornish Pasty was the best hot pocket I've ever had. My cod was cooked well too. My issue was with the seafood in general. Both the shrimp and the calamari had a texture I did not enjoy. Both were kinda slimy even though they were both deep fried. I feel like it was just me, but my cousin noticed that the calamari was a little different as well. Overall still really good. They have drink specials and TVs everywhere as well. I highly recommend!
