For some reason I really liked the look of this bakery. The customer area is pretty small (no tables, etc), leaving a lot of room for the actual baking area. The display case is quite attractive, although I would have appreciated if more of the items in it were labeled (the chalkboard says what they all are, but it's not always immediately evident which is which!) We focused on savory items here. The ham & cheese croissant was tasty but a bit too greasy for me - on the other hand, it's a ham and *cheese croissant*, so that's not too surprising. I liked that it had plenty of good quality ham inside. Overall I probably preferred the sausage roll, which was a roll filled with good Italian sausage and caramelized onions. The onions were a bit too sweet for me, but I really liked the dough for the roll. Finally, we tried the monkey bread. I was surprised it was made with croissant dough, and it was a little dry for my taste - the dough was not moist and there was not a hint of a syrupy component. Instead, it was crispy at the edges. However I really liked how cinnamony it was. Clearly an excellent bakery.
