We have eaten here a few times over the years and not been real impressed. The restaurant is
unattractive with tables jammed in a small space. The "cash only" signs don't add to the ambiance. The worn tables are covered with pieces of glass displaying numerous pictures of previous guests (?). You are given a cheap paper napkin and "disposable utensils. The menu prices do not match the prices posted on their website. In fact, many of the dishes are double or more. On the restaurant menu, there are a whole range of dishes without prices. When the server was asked, he sort of stumbled. My husband and I had the same dishes on our last two visits which were two months apart. The prices quoted were different. Seems like nobody knows what they are. The prices are outrageous for what you get and the lousy, noisy ambiance. Food is OK - nothing special, rather bland. The bread is awful and not very fresh. Service is fair and the owner is rather unfriendly, unless you are a regular, which is someone I don't want to be. A couple of the servers wear rather offensive t-shirts. The bill is on a receipt from the 50's, with just a total amount due - no price breakdown. To me it is the NO restaurant - NO reservations, NO credit cards and NO alcohol. With these, along with the ridiculous prices, the owner is laughing all the way to the bank.
All in all, a place I would not recommend nor plan on returning to.
