Nice decoration and style choices, nothing else to recommend it. Went here for lunch on our wedding anniversary. Looked like it would be a nice dining experience from photos. The restaurant was more than half empty, but we were placed at a table right next to another couple, close enough that if we all stuck out our elbows, we would be touching. Other people who were seated after us were scattered around, so I don't know why the hostess crammed us together but didn't do so with others; the servers worked various areas of the restaurant so I don't think it was to fill up a specific person's tables or something like that. Food: okay. The organic greens on the menu was a handful of a salad pack you can buy at the store. We asked for the dressing on the side so it was obviously a literal handful of the salad pack. I think it was $8. Rest of the food was good but not something I'd go out of the way for. Other prices were reasonable. Service: slow, forgetful, and unapologetic. Took a while to take our orders, couldn't answer questions about how the seafood was cooked and was unwilling to ask the kitchen. We asked to split one of the entrees (soup) and was told that was fine (and we were ordering 2 other entrees as well). It didn't come split, and when we asked for it to be split, she brought an extremely shallow bowl and suggested we pour it as carefully as we could. She would not take it back to the kitchen or bring a larger spoon to help it out. 4 of the servers, including ours, spent a lot of time standing in the back of the restaurant talking, with their backs to the rest of the floor. When we were trying to get her attention, none of them looked over or made any effort to look around the floor. Someone from the bar area noticed us first and walked over to the group to let them know people were waiting for service. We had ordered drinks at the very beginning, she forgot about them completely until AFTER the bill came; they didn't charge us for the drinks and did bring them out shortly after the bill, so we got a few sips of them, but we weren't going to stay around just to drink them. Management: When we handed in our bill and payment, we asked to talk to the manager. No one came. So when we were walking out we asked the hostess to talk to the manager. She was the manager. When we told her the issues, she said "well there's nothing I can do about it now." No apology, no horror or surprise, no offer to make it better. We said it was a disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion. She said that it was our fault for not mentioning it was our anniversary, they would have given us a dessert. We didn't want dessert, just an acceptable lunch! And, it didn't occur to her to offer this dessert to go. One last attempt to get any reaction from her was met with a shrug and slight roll of eyes. This was in September 2016, hopefully they have found more experienced and professional management by now.
