Dr. Akl was very compassionate and patient with me in deciding to have surgery. It took me almost a year to make the decision to have the surgery. He explained things well and gave me resources to explore further. He also recommended some pelvic therapy with Patty, who is excellent, and that was helpful. My recovery went well. I have found the office staff helpful and compassionate.
