I had my unit go out. I saw that none of the fans on it were working outside. I called out a company who tried to tell me I needed a completely new unit for the price of $4,250.00. I called perfect air and pipe and they came out to diagnose it. It turned out that all I needed to change was the fan on it.
It literally cost me $375 to replace the fan on the outside condenser. They also recommended that the capacitor should be changed in addition to the fan. Those 2 parts work together...I am told.
It works really good now and I only spent a few hundred instead of a few thousand.
