So I need a lumbar spine MRI with out contrast and no special requirements. I have decent insurance, I work for a large local hospital as an RN. Called this place to make an appointment and they said my copay would be $511. Now on my plan I am responsible for 10% and my insurance 90%. I asked for a breakdown of charges, was place on hold for over 10 minutes, nice lady says someone will call me back and explain it. Never happened. So this morning on a whim I called and asked what the cash pay would be for the same test and was quoted $480. I clarified that they wanted my copay (10%) $511 vs cash pay $480 (100%). The lady said they just bill what the insurance tells them to. Keep this in mind when dealing with this company. I really wish this review would post to all of simon med and not just this location. Needless to say I am going to urge the 100s of MDs and providers I come into contact with to avoid using this company. Addendum: How about honoring the return call and explanation. I'm not doing your legwork for you Amanda
