I had to come here to get a rental since my Toyota Sienna got rear-ended while I as in San Diego on vacation. My auto insurance (State Farm) sent me here to pick up a rental car in the meantime... I noticed State Farm that I would need at least a larger size vehicle. I called Hertz to ask for a pick up because State Farm told me they could pick me up at my Autobody shop. When they answered, they told me "We don't do that here." Okay, great. So I walk a few blocks to Hertz and they give me a piece of $h!T car... a Hyundai Accent. This is a COMPACT car!!! I needed a larger car since I lost my Toyota Sienna which holds TWO car seats for my babies. How am I suppose to fit two car seats in a Hyundai Accent? Hertz tells me to "call" the other Hertz locations to see if they have larger vehicles... and if they do, I can drive there and exchange the car for a larger one. (Customer service would be you calling your other Hertz locations to check right? Since you're out of any cars bigger than "Compact") After calling the two Hertz locations, they also tell me they're out of any vehicles larger than "compact". I ended up driving the Hyundai Accent home and NOT using it at all. Just ended up wasting my time and wasn't State Farm's money. Go to Enterprise instead, you won't regret it.
