Simply put: It all depends on how you like your pie slice. Let it be known that I prefer a more buttery pie crust over a flaky one. One that your fork slides through and melts in your mouth. After a friendly greeting from the server, I ordered a slice of strawberry pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. While the pie wasn't your average store bought pie I found myself wanting an oh-so-buttery crust. The filling was fantastic and not to sweet or sour. The Shack itself could be considered a shack by many, however there was a certain charm in the crooked ply wood floor. If you want a flaky neighbourhood experience, head to the Shack.
