Basis for my starred ratings (which skews heavily to the food or drink):
1 star: Never again.
2 stars: Poor food, poor experience, extraordinary measures in order for me to come back.
3 stars: Average, nothing really special, nothing particularly bad.
4 stars: Very good, would definitely return.
5 stars: A favorite, one of the best.
This truck was unexpectedly good. Granted it was free (not taking that into consideration), but based on taste alone, I'd come back to it.
It;s not snow, and it's not a snow cone. Hawaiian shaved ice is probably the closet approximation I can give it. Or old school ppat bing soo ice. So it definitely crunches when you bite into it, but the crystals are pretty small so they melt quickly on your mouth.
Got pina colada flavoring and it was great. Refreshing and sweet. Be warned. It was 108 and sunny the day we went and it started to melt QUICK.
