I have been going to Paris Optique since they had a store on Mill Ave in Tempe Arizona. I think each time I have bought a pair of eyeglasses, I have been getting progressively worse service. Case and point, I had a rimless pair of eyeglasses that were super glued into the lenses because they didn't carry the sleeve that goes into the drill mount. When I inquired about it, they said that Optician no longer works for them and that they don't guarantee their work if I bring in my own eyeglasses. Yes, well, I did bring in my own eyeglasses that I purchased from you, Paris Optique. They said that they don't keep records past 2 years and they don't warrant anything past that point anyway, so I was out of luck. My last experience has been the worst that I've ever witnessed. I purchased a pair of their frames with the Crizal Avance lenses. Within a year, the lenses started crazing, peeling, and chipping around the frames. I took them in and they said that is NOT normal, so they cut new lenses and the same thing happened again in less than a year. Except this time, they mentioned that they lost my records and I couldn't file a warranty because the lenses had the same thing happened to them, and suggested that I was mistreating or improperly cleaning the lenses. I showed them several other pairs of eyeglasses that I have purchased from them over the years, and none of them exhibited this type of problem. Of course, my problem was escalated to the owner, Fabrizio, and he couldn't do anything for me, or get me into contact with the laboratory who cuts and finishes the lenses. They simply stated that it was bizarre that it happened twice. After doing some research, I called the manufacturer of the lens and they said that it's up to the lab doing the work to give a warranty on their work. I noticed that they keep moving locations. I don't know if this is because business is bad, or they no longer want to keep a high level of customer service and simply change retail spaces often. The location on Mill in Tempe closed over a decade ago, The one on Scottsdale Rd and Mayo Blvd is gone, and the place in San Tan Village closed up shop recently.
