On Mother's Day my visiting girlfriend from Chicago and I went out on this adventure.
Making a long story short....we see the "get off" point #4 but thought "Oh let's go for a little longer and get off at the next point".....Okay...well 2 hours later we do not see another point..to find out that point 4 was the ONLY one and about 4 miles back against current!!....now a little panic sets in...@ 55 years young we made our way to Granite Reef and we called Salt River and the end result was someone came and got us....His name was Dave and we are soooo grateful for him!...he was so sweet and told us that this was not the first time this has happened.....but.....we were the first of the 2018 Season!! All in all....saw beautiful wild horses three times! Others on the lake so friendly and was just a beautiful day of FUN!...Oh, and only gave 4 stars because I think that the people that rent tubes/sell bus tickets should make that very clear that point 4 is the LAST pick up point so that this does not happen to someone else...Seriously, there are no signs at point 4 that make it clear that you need to exit NOW!
