Living in Los Angeles, Meepleville is now going to be part of our stops when we head over to Sin City! Found out about this place when we went to Meeplecon. We visited on Thursday of Memorial Day weekend. Was looking to see the games they had for sale and realized that this is a gaming cafe similar to Gamehaus in Los Angeles. We were greeted by Timm. He was very friendly and very passionate about board games. I asked him if he had any recommendations for a 2 player game and after picking our brain on what types of games we liked, he recommended Mr. Jack. My wife and I played at the cafe and Timm set up the game and taught us how to play the game in detail! He had to come and go since he had to tend to the store, but he was very patient and thorough about the game. We fell in love with the game! It was exactly what we were looking for! Afterwards we looked around the game library and saw Viticulture so we decided to play that. As we were reading the rules, another worker, Alex was very excited when she saw the game and taught us how to play. This was a Godsend since this was a pretty deep game and learning would've taken us a lot longer. We needed a break after finishing Viticulture and decided to buy Mr. Jack - New York for its dynamic map. They did not have Viticulture :( While we were playing, we order nachos and chicken strips. The lady (Jessica) took my order and asked where we were playing. She brought the food to us when it was ready! The chicken strips were great. The nachos were made from real cheese, which is a good thing, but I prefer the Velveeta type cheese on nachos since they stay melted while you are gaming for hours. All in all, this was the best board game cafe / store I have visited. We will definitely be coming back! The staff is super friendly, board game library is vast, and the game selection they have for sale is fantastic. This was the first place that I saw that has Star Wars Destiny in stock! I love this place! Thanks to Timm, Alex, and Jessica! You blew us away!
