A stay fit for a queen - and QE II has even stayed at this place. It doesn't get much better than that! From the beginning, the staff was very accommodating. The location downtown is very convenient, across the street from Union Station and just blocks from the waterfront and the Metro Convention Center. The hotel is also above the PATH underground walking system, which made it a breeze to get from place A to B while I was there. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with hair dryers in each one (very important for someone flying with 2 carry-ons and no space for a hair dryer), and plush bath robes should you want to lounge around sipping on your complimentary tea and enjoying the view of downtown Toronto on a lazy morning. Only downside was that Wi-Fi was not complimentary, and was actually a little pricey ($15 Canadian/day). I still wouldn't dock them a star for that, it's pretty standard at most places these days to have to pay for it. If you need a place in downtown Toronto, and want the royal treatment, check into the Fairmont!
