Scatterbrain that I am, I mailed my resident parking pass application with all of the required documentation -- expect for the payment. I assumed that my application and documentation would be thrown out without payment, so I started preparing a second application packet.
Before I mailed everything, I received a call from a very polite PPA employee to let me know that I'd forgotten to include my payment, but that they were holding my file until I submitted it.
Yes, the PPA is a monopoly, but it's nice when you stumble across someone within a monopoly who cares enough to deliver great customer service.
