$14 for a single ride, $7 for re-rides, and I believe one free ride if you stay at New York New York.
Now that that helpful information is out of the way, how's the ride and line experience? WELL... going on at night was a bad idea for the simple fact that there were too many loud drunks for my liking. The ride says to not ride if you're an alcoholic, but I guess they don't really care. The line was just filled with people talking about drinking, getting laid, and making horrible jokes. Shit, Vegas, get it together.
After twenty-or-so minutes, my girlfriend and I got our free ride on the coaster (compliments of the hotel). I'll just say straight away that I can not imagine going on this coaster during the day in the summer. Even at night, the desert air burned my eyes through the ride because it was so hot. As for the ride itself, it was about what I expected after things I read: rickety and painful. Despite that, it was a better-than-decent coaster. If you want to minimalize damage, I'd suggest riding with your head back the whole time so as to avoid whiplash.
The Roller Coaster (damn, what an exciting name) provides some nice views of The Strip, although you're being thrown around a bit too quickly and often to really enjoy them. The Roller Coaster is definitely worth experiencing if you're in Vegas and enjoy roller coasters. Also, if you don't hate the ride like so many on Yelp seem to, they offer re-rides for seven bucks. This coaster doesn't compare to any at a place like Cedar Point at all (I'm just spoiled), but it's worth riding if you're at New York New York.
