Used to be my favorite restaurant in the US, and I'm a world traveler. Used to rate a 5, but the flavors aren't so flavorful anymore, not just the hot spicy, just the curry isn't as complex as it used to be. Last two times I was there I asked for a 9 out of 10 on the spicy side, and Indian food is supposed to be hot anyway. It was mild. I don't mind paying what they charge when they get it right, but when I microwave my leftovers and add cayenne pepper and it's better that way, that's just wrong.
