Another stop on my quest to experience all of the coffee shops of the Greater Cleveland Area! Loop is an interesting entry because it's mostly a coffee shop with a corner of a record shop. It's a fun combo. There's seating downstairs and upstairs and while it's not a terribly large space, it's a pretty decent size. But you care about the coffee which makes sense. The pro is that the coffee is good, it's nothing spectacular nor do they have anything crazy on their menu. It's solid coffee (or well...coffee drinks, I don't drink black coffee...so...). I ordered a mocha this time around and it was pretty good, not too sweet and not too bitter. The con I would say is the price. It seems a bit expensive in comparison to the other local coffee shops and it doesn't seem to warrant that bump in price. There is music playing, obviously, at a pretty audible level so if you're looking for a quiet place to study or do work, this may not be the place for you. Noise also travels very easily so that's another thing to keep in mind if it gets busy and you're trying to focus. Overall, a fun experience but not my favorite place.
