I hate writing negative reviews, but the vet's mistake in this case was egregious. My 7-year-old daughter and I took our 1-yr. Border Collie mix here four days after rescue because the shelter sent us for a rabies shot and free check-up. The doc had awful bedside manner from the get-go and did nothing to earn the trust of our already skittish pup before moving in quickly with the needle. The dog curled his lip, behavior which we had not seen anything remotely close to previously or since. This prompted the vet to label him aggressive and suggest we should give the dog back to the shelter for our own safety (?!?) -- that he was a danger to my daughter and her friends. He went on to tell us an awesome story about a 7-year-old girl being mauled by her family's new puppy and getting facial reconstruction surgery. Again, with my young daughter present. Of course, the dog has been a perfect gentleman since and was coming from a place of extreme fear and uncomfortability, and didn't snap or even growl. This vet may have had the best intentions, but his knee-jerk reaction was wholly uncalled for and scared my daughter unnecessarily.
