Wow! What a fantastic Target experience tonight! ( I mean let's be honest- any experience in Target is generally amazing but I digress) We went in search of Enfamil Gentlease formula in hopes of soothing the screaming infant at home who's screams would terrify even the most Alpha of wolves. To our dismay- the shelves had been stripped clean if this apparently magical formula. There must be many more banshie children in the neighborhood with desperate parents. Michael, the friendly sales associate nearby saw our distress and came to our rescue. With valor and determination that I'd never before witnessed in a Target employee, he scoured the shelves, the back storage, the carts of passing strangers- everywhere. The formula was nowhere to be found. It was apparent that failure was not an option for Michael. He excused himself and came back a hot minute later devastated. There was no Enfamil Gentlease to be found. He then escorted us to the front where he called all nearby Targets, and insisted that the answering associate walk back to the baby area and physically remove the formula from the shelf. He then instructed him or her to transport it to the front of the store and stand guard over it until we arrived to gather it. Michael- you sir are a true hero. I dedicate my sleep tonight to you.
