It was my first time coming here and unfortunately the AC was down so it was actually 85 degrees in there with the doors open and half their staff standing outside fanning themselves. I mean, shit happens right? That isn't why I'm giving them 3 stars.
Heres why~
I came in expecting their specialty drinks to taste as good as they look. You know what I found out: take off the fancy garnishes/toppings and the drink itself was "aiight". Taste like any other drink out there. The toppings were good, but I wasn't too surprised. I got the Ube Milkshake and Matchata (this was an interesting drink that blended matcha and horchata). The ube tasted like a decent taro millshake topped with a single sourbelt, a toasted jumbo marshmallow, and another twisted marshmallow-thing. Honestly, it was just the toppings made it look worthy enough to drink, but I dont think I'll get it a second time around. The same goes with the matchata. That drink didn't really have a good balance between the two flavors. I love both matcha and horchata but putting them together, at least for this drink, tasted kind of odd to me. It wasn't horrible, just something unfamiliar I guess.
I haven't gotten any of their food so I will definitely come back to check those out and hopefully update my review with that. Other than that, I would still recommend this place to anyone because its different and not bad at all. If you're looking to try some new flavors, this might just be your place!
