This was my first experience boarding a pet. I am seriously considering never going on a vacation again! I adopted by pitbull in June and had a vacation already planned. When I dropped off my beloved pet, they took her to go potty. The girl was back within 2 minutes without my dog. When I questioned the whereabouts of my pet, I was told she was fine outback. Before I could make a list of her personal belongings, another staff arrived without my dog saying that she was a jumper and got out of the fence. When I made my reservation I specifically said I had a pit who acted like Spiderman and could climb the fence. I was told that she would be fine and would always be supervised. Thankfully my dog waited patiently at the back door. When I asked about how often she would be exercised, I was told they didn't have time to do that; they just took them to the kennel for potty breaks. That was my fault because when I was told that the dogs were taken out, I assumed it was for more than a potty break. After all I was recommended to this place because they were supposedly familiar with pit bulls; pit bulls are noted for their notorious energy and climbing/jumping abilities While I was away, I never received any updates by email as they claim. When I picked her up, her bowls were filthy with other dogs hair and she looked worse than when I picked her up from the shelter two months ago. When I asked for her rug, they gave me the wrong one. When I stated that that her rug was much bigger and thicker, I was told that she peed on it the first night so they took it away. I told them that the purpose of me bringing her special rug was so that she wouldn't feel abandoned since I had just adopted her from the shelter a few months earlier. Then I was told that they were afraid she would rip it up. I would never recommend boarding a dog there!
