Absolutely stunning architecture on the property. The details and history were incredible - every president since Hoover has stayed there! Just being there was relaxing since the scenery was so pretty and calming.
We stayed in one of the cottages and had our own private patio with fire pit. It was wonderful to sit out at night- very quite and cozy! I always felt like the air conditioning never was quite as cold as I would have liked, but we were only in the room to sleep and shower!
The pool was laid out so that the water slide and many of the children were at one pool and the cabanas and ample chairs were at the other end- it was great to be able to choose a quiet or lively setting at the pool. The pool servers came by quite frequently and we always had full beverages!
The workout facilities were top notch. The spa was slightly outdated looking but had all the necessary amenities. I'd recommend another spa, since there are so many to choose from in Phx/Scottsdale.
Valet was always quick to get our car or if was already waiting when we called ahead for it!
