I was seriously sick with a flu back in march. I was trying to battle it at home with the home remedies and over the counter medicine, but it seemed to get worse and I went to the closest urgent care, which happened to be this one. It was surprisingly empty, there were no patients at all. That should have been a red flag, but since I could barely sit, let alone drive, I just wanted to see any doctor. The doctor looked more like a scam artist or a random old man from the street, he didn't seem trustworthy, but I had no choice. He seemed to be more interested in asking me questions about my personal background, than my symptoms. Checking my breathing, he, for some reason, started pressing hard with his feast over my breast. He pressed so hard, that I had to say "ouch", later on I had a good size bruise on that spot. After they did an X Ray, he gave me a prescription for steroids (for flu?!). And let me go. I got the pills, but when I read all the side effects and purpose of those, I decided to not take them. The next day I went to Procare medical center down the street, where they run test for flu right away, gave me antiviral prescription for flu and a cough syrup. I was back alive in just a few days. Now I got the bill for $147 from this urgent care and a con artist doctor, who did NOTHING for me (besides an XRay). Here is the summary: pros: no wait time (nobody wants to go there) cons: a doctor with questionable credibility, with a suspicious attitude towards foreigners and questionable practice. Plus the sky high bill, that you will get in the mail after NOT getting any help there.
