Initially we were supposed to go to Marquee on a Friday night but took too long to get ready. I think its because we would take shots of sake every 10 minutes while getting ready :P
So our friend, who lives in Vegas, makes a quick detour to Encore and in a quick second, we are waiting in the special guest line to get into Surrender. We waited a total of 15 minutes and got in free :D
The club itself is really nice. It's all outside with a pool. Very pretty if you actually take a chance to take it all in AND if you are sober enough to make any observations.
4 vodka shots cost $56....ouch but again, it's Vega$$$.
When DJ Steve Aoki came on, the dance floor got packed. According to one of my best friends, he looked like a Japanese Jesus. He kept poppin' bottles of champagne to shower everyone on the dance floor. Then, during his last song, he popped open another bottle and proceeded to offer sips to people in the audience like a modern day messiah.
