Thank you Kris and YelpGTA team for organizing this for us! Elite week at Happy Lemon in Vaughan was definitely a cool concept for us to drop in at our own time to redeem the Yelp perks - one free refreshing drink and a VIP card that is good for the rest of the year :D! Surprisingly, many Elites did not know that they had to RSVP for this event (it was mistaken as a drop-in for samples, similar to the one we did for Uncle Tetsu one year). For those who did RSVP and got in, congrats! Happy Lemon is one of my favourite bubble tea shops, and their Freshly Squeezed Lemon Black Tea is seriously to die for. Even better, Happy Lemon came out with a NEW Mojito series with fresh mint infused into the drinks. I've never had it before (and I love mint!), so I had to try the Fresh Mint Lemon Mojito! It was super refreshing and minty :) They used fresh mint and not the syrup! If you love mint, I would highly recommend this! But beware of the sugar level. Regular sugar was actually too sweet for me. Go for 50% sugar or even less if you like it less sweet. P.S. The bubble waffle is actually pretty good ;)
