My goal on a weekday morning before work is to get a tasty latte fast. A dose of friendliness is the icing, or in this case, the foam.
Unfortunately, this Second Cup doesn't deliver either. The service here is not friendly or fast. The handful of times I have been here, they have had either too few or too many staff, and most of them have been unable to demonstrate basic levels of competence. They struggle with basic orders and with the cash register. I gave them one last try today and I am done.
Plus? $3.83 for a small latte in my own cup? That's not right, Second Cup. Starbucks across the street is 60 cents cheaper AND they give me the iTunes song of the week. You lose.
