This Residence Inn is well-located and convenient, right by Blue Jays' Rogers Stadium, a short 5-min walk. It's also well-situated near the financial district and theater area, with plenty of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance, as well as a 5-10 min walk to the St. Andrew subway station. The lobby is somewhat small and cramped, though, making it hard to use as a meeting point. The in-lobby breakfast area is also rather small and this time of year (high summer), it was very crowded at breakfast time. The complimentary breakfast is nice as a cost/time-saver, though the menu is a bit limited and tiring of it after a couple of mornings, we opted for nearby breakfast cafes for a change of pace. Now for the rooms: In general, they were quite comfortable, all suites with good beds and furnishings, small kitchenette, and room to spread out in. But what's with the bathrooms? Super-loud fan, and worse, when your neighbors switched on the fan, you can hear it through your bathroom (as well as other, ahem, flushing noises). Since our bathroom was en-suite with our bedroom, this made a restful, quiet sleep -- NOT. This noisiness is the primary reason we don't give this hotel a higher rating.
