SHOULD BE A MINUS 5 STARS!!!! AM I SHOUTING!!!! I don't know how they stay in business. I had their service with DVR for 1 1/2 years. Dvr kept breaking down and I turned in at least 5 of them. I finally gave up and cancelled the service. They tried to charge me a cancel fee but I refused to pay it. DO NOT GIVE IN TO THEIR DEMANDS. I went to Centurylink. Not much better and they charged more than they said they would. Cox offered me a good deal to re-sign up. $89 a month with $100 rebate and free installation. So I got Cox again without their crappy DVR service, just the HD receiver. I have been happy with the service but they tried to charge me $90 for the free installation. I called numerous times and finally got a credit for that but it resulted in a late fee which I fought and was eventually refunded for that. I have been patiently waiting for my $100 rebate for 6 months and when I called and asked where is it they told me it is on the way for the last 3 months but now say I won't get it because of the late fee which was credited back to me. Today I called the rebate center, who referred me back to customer support, and got hold of an upper supervisor who looked over my account and denied the rebate. After I barked at him for 5 minutes and threatened to go to network tv about this scam they are running he offered to take $100 off my bill. If you go on the internet and look at Cox rebate complaints you will run out of paper. They have been doing this a long time. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. I finally got what was promised to me but I have called at least 8 times, and had to argue and yell each and every time. Who needs that kind of aggravation. If they just live up to their bait and switch offers I would have written a good review which is what I would prefer. I have always gotten great service from the Cox store on Bell in Surprise. Those people work hard to solve the problems the head office causes. Also, the online sales people will lie to you to get a sale so you are much better off going into one of the stores and dealing with them. You will have much better results.
