My mission was to purchase wine for a friend as a gift. I know nothing about wine other than I like to drink Chardonnay. I found myself standing in the red wine aisle at 9:30 in the morning. I was the only customer in the store. There were so many stockers buzzing around me. I had to move several times, I was in their way. I had already felt out of place. I asked a young lady where I would find "19 Crimes", so told me there is really not rhyme or reason to how we stock wine. I was even more confused. I stared at her and she was annoyed. I asked her again where I would find "19 Crimes" hoping I had misunderstood her. She repeated herself and ask me what kind of wine....I shrugged and said "cab". She replied "other side of this aisle" and turned around. I wheeled my cart around the corner. Ready to place a case of "19 Crimes" in my cart. I stood staring at countless bottles of wine stocked on shelves for no rhyme or reason. I stood there for 10 minutes as stockers just whizzed by me. I couldn't find "19 Crimes". I walked away from my cart and right out the door. I drove to Total Wine which is literally behind BevMo. We will see how this experience goes.
